Course Description

This is a comprehensive review of CCIM designation core concepts including financial and investment analyses, market analysis, and user decision analysis. Key focus areas include how to: determine the initial investment for a commercial real estate property both before and after tax and both with and without financing; forecast sale proceeds at end of the holding period both before and after tax and both with and without financing; calculate the expected value of the internal rate of return (IRR), given best, most likely, and worst-case scenarios; and calculate and demonstrate the impact of taxation on a real estate investment with and without debt financing.
