Course Description

One of CCIM’s most innovative core courses, CI 102 shows you how to deploy “big data” and the most advanced digital tools to assess critical issues like market demand, location facility, and supply-chain strategy. CI 102 students have learned BAO mapping and data analytics to help their clients select store locations; others used Tapestry Segmentation to determine demand for apartment properties. In CI 102 you’ll work with four case studies covering each of the major property types: office, industrial, multifamily, and retail.

Instructors

Joseph Fisher

Joe Fisher, CCIM, is President of Fisher Investment Real Estate in Indianapolis. He has over 40 years of experience in commercial real estate and specializes in industrial and retail development and investment.

Fisher has been a CCIM Institute instructor since 1980. He was awarded Instructor of the Year in 1989 by Institute faculty and the Victor L. Lyon Award for  outstanding service and contributions to the CCIM education program in 2000.

Fisher received his bachelor’s degree in economics from University of Notre Dame.

Gary M. Ralston, CCIM

Gary Ralston

Gary M. Ralston, CCIM, SIOR, SRS, CPM, CRE, CLS, CDP, CRX, FRICS is a managing partner of Coldwell Banker Commercial Saunders Ralston Dantzler Realty, LLC – the premier commercial services provider in Central Florida (Polk County). He is a recognized subject matter expert on retail and commercial properties, and his experience includes the complete spectrum of commercial real estate services. In addition, he is a successful real estate developer, investor, and group investment sponsor.

From the early 1990s through 2004 Ralston was the president and a member of the board of directors of Commercial Net Lease Realty, Inc. (NYSE:NNN) the industry leader in single-tenant corporate net-leased real estate. During that time he guided the company’s growth from less than $15 million in real estate assets to over $1.5 billion.
